Pesto with Walnuts

Vegan Pesto Recipe


  • 1 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped (you can use pine nuts too)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • 3 TBSP nutritional yeast


  • Combine basil, walnuts, nutritional yeast, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and salt and pepper to taste in blender. Blend until smooth.
