I think because, in the end, I’ve been a bit wishy washy about it.
I’m not sure why. I loved how my winter Anthropologie-inspired pom pom wreath turned out. And I was excited about recreating one for fall ..
And when I made the pom pom pumpkins …
and showed you how I made them here, I loved how they turned out.
When I started wrapping the wreath with orange yarn …
I was still excited …
And when I decided to hang the finished wreath on my little black door, I thought it was a genius move …
That the bright orange of the yarn would just pop …
and, admittedly, it does.
Yet, I can’t quite put my finger on why I’m not totally head-over-heels in love with this project. Don’t get me wrong. There is a lot of liking going on. Just not the full on love …
