Green and Blush Spring Decorating Ideas for Spring

Green and Blush Spring Decorating Ideas – Living Room Decorating Ideas for Spring

As much as I want to babble on and tell you some story about Spring or my home – or, more likely and true to me – something that has absolutely nothing to do with the pictures in this post, I will refrain.

Oh, and it’s killing me. The refrain part.

Because, as those of you who visit here regularly, you know I’m a consummate babbler. And for those of you who have clicked over here from Country Road 407‘s beautiful Spring home tour filled with a mix of faux and real foliage, let me introduce you to my babbling ways …

🙂

Because that’s what happens when you get up there in age. The babbling. And it has nothing to do with that glass of wine. 😉

But today isn’t about my nonsensical babbling. Today is a celebration of Spring featuring decorating inspiration from 30+ talented bloggers all organized by the fantabulous non-babbler Marty at A Stroll Thru Life.

And somehow Marty decided I should be included in that 30+. So I’m ever so thankful …

and truly hoping that she has skimmed over the whole babbling part of this post. Otherwise I may not be invited back next season! Lol. 😉

Speaking of babbling (I just can’t help myself!) I’m pretty sure I’ve been a repeat babbler here after 13 years of blogging. Sharing the same stories again and again.

And we can get real Meta and ponder whether I’ve already posted about my tendency to babble. So is this my second post about babbling?

Or third?

Oh, and let’s all take a moment to marvel at how I’ve managed to create an entire blog post babbling about my babbling! 🙂

Especially when I should be babbling about my Spring living room. Or why I chose the green and blush pink combo.

Honestly, I don’t have a coherent answer.

The pillow covers caught my eye on Amazon (I shared more about my favorite Amazon pillows here) and were super affordable. The blush pink chalked paint from Rustoleum has been in my craft stores for years. So I just slapped some on a few spare mason jars.

So it was a bit of a happy accident that I landed on green and blush pink for Spring.

Though, admittedly, these green pillow covers are the same ones I used for Christmas.

And there’s a pretty good chance they’ll stick around for summer too. 🙂

P.S. I shared a tutorial on how I made the Spring-y blush & white polka dot mason jars on this post.

Next up on the 2024 Spring home tour is Jill at Bungalow 47. I just love her dreamy coastal vibes in soft blues and white.
