As in temporarily …

As in the roller coaster has been shut down for the time being due to high winds …

But don’t despair.

The Tilt-A-Whirl is still going strong …

Now I was going to introduce you to Cassie, but chances are – if you’re a blogger — you’ve already met her through your comments thread.

Seriously.

Whenever I leave a comment on a blog (and I’m a comment leaver) Cassie’s in the comment thread.  In every comment thread.  And she always, always manages to get there before me.
She’s omnipresent in the blog world.
And it makes me wonder when and how she finds time to do this …

See, even I learned something new about Cassie today …
And while Cassie has been hard at work working on her home, she’s probably most famous in the blog world for her work turning hopeless and neglected pieces of furniture into masterpieces …

… which she reveals at the start of her weekly POWWW furniture-only link party each and every Tuesday.

And now I need to go and work on my own neglected furniture pieces.  Luckily I found some inspiration at Hobby Lobby last week …

… so my dresser may actually be refinished soon.

  5. Cassie and Linda are BOTH awesome! I am getting ready for an “outdoor score” for the 29th. And I did the Homes.com thing. I should be caught up with the blog by 2014. *Whew* I’m tired just thinking of all of this.
