Yeah, our condo has a rooftop pool.
When looking for a condo, rooftop pool wasn’t on our must-have check list. Honestly, I even forgot it was a possibility …
which is strange since Mike’s sister’s downtown Chicago condo has a beautiful pool that sits atop the parking garage. It’s spectacularly landscaped with grills and gazebos and flowers.
And a spa.
Our rooftop pool is a bit more modest. Okay, a lot more modest. Like no swimming laps modest.
The deepest part is an inch taller than at a depth of 5’4.”
But it’s a lovely place to relax and catch some rays and cool off in water that is the perfect not-too-cold-not-too-warm temperature water.
It’s also a great place to read a book while catching some rays.
And when I’m not on the pool deck, my other favorite place for book reading is on our balcony.
Sans rays.
Like the pool, it’s a modest size. And was looking very sparse before I dressed it up with some flowers in containers.
Oh, and I was sure to get some self-watering containers because I’m a notorious plant killer! 😉
And when not reading, it’s nice to sit here with a glass of wine – or tea – and enjoy the views.
