Christmas in the Chicago Condo Kitchen – Wreaths on Kitchen Cabinets for Christmas – Mini Wreaths with Velvet Bows.

Happy New Year’s Eve!

It’s crazy to think that this time last year we were starting talks with a realtor neighbor/friend about selling the house …
with the idea that it may happen sometime in spring or summer

Oh how naive we were! 😉

It’s still a little shocking how quickly it all developed.
And how quickly I suddenly found myself clearing out 30 years of stuff. With a particular focus on the basement.
The basement that, over the years, morfed into it’s very own Christmas shop.

So, so, sooooo many containers and bags and boxes of trees and ornaments and garland and twinkle lights and wreaths …

It was a challenge to pare it all back to fit into a small-ish caged storage container in our new condo building.
Sadly many pieces did not make the final cut. Including one of the Christmas trees. 🙁

But the mini wreaths for the kitchen cabinets were always on the nice list.
I mean, I’ve had these for over 25 years!

And for our first Christmas in the new condo, those mini wreaths made their way out of the caged storage to the condo’s kitchen cabinets.
I think I made the right choice in bringing them along, if I do say so myself! 🙂
