pillowpalooza take 2

June 18, 2012 By Linda 13 Comments

I think it’s time to strut your stuff again …

… as in stuffing …
… as in pillows …
That’s right.  I think it’s time for another pillowpalooza link party …
it all started with paint

So be here and be square (or rectangular or round or whatever shape your pillow may take) on Monday, June 25 at 6 AM CST.

And just like last time anything goes.  Well anything as long as it’s pillows.  It can be a pillow you made.  A pillow you bought.  A pillow you sell …

… and you read that right …
… if you have an Etsy or a web site or a Facebook page where you sell pillows you’re invited to link them on up …

No, no.  Make that encouraged to link them up next week …

And the pillow fun doesn’t stop there.  I’m giving away another monogram rosette pillow from my Etsy shop…
monogram_b_pillow_collage_best
But you have to go here to enter …

… at The Winthrop Chronicles.

And when you’re at Sarah’s be sure to check out this post on photography 101.  It’s a new Friday series where she shares her photography expertise … and she has some seriously good lessons to share with an amateur like me. I mean I’ve heard of the rule of thirds in design, but how many of you have heard of photography’s rule of thirds?  It’s was new to me …

So get out of here.  And enter to win a monogrammed pillow.  And then pull out your sewing machine …

… or — if that’s not your style — go shopping …

… so you can link up next week …

Oh Lordy. My daughter in law took her sewing machine home yesterday. But I still have fabric glue.

yay! I tried so hard to get my pillow done in time for the last one and I just couldn’t become friends with my sewing machine in time!

darn, forgot to take a picture of the pillow I did..I am officially allergic to sewing machines…yeah I can paint, decopage…make all kinds of stuff but fear a sewing machine…but I did find a great plain burlap bag…so I had a old pillow and pillow case because the burlap was so loose…I tucked the pillow in the case…based stich Then I used Annie Sloan paint and painted lines on the burlap and did a transfer….now looks grain sack…tucked the pillow inside and stiched it all up….came out great and I didn’t have to touch a machine ….but I will have to break down some day….love love yours..and thanks for checking out my blog…really means a lot to me

A pillow party sounds like fun. I’m in desperate need for new ones since my dogs did a number on the ones I had. I’d love to join if I can get them done in time.
