Spaghetti Pie Recipe

I recently made Spaghetti Pie and thought I’d pass along this easy and delicious recipe.  My mom always makes this when we visit each summer – and each summer we leave Florida with the recipe in-hand and good intentions to recreate at home.  And then the routine sets in.  And school starts.  And the Spaghetti Pie recipe gets relegated to the “pasta” section in the recipe box and forgotten …

… but this past weekend my son, the lover of Spaghetti Pie and the reason my mom makes it for us each summer, reminded me that:

(1) we have the Spaghetti Pie recipe, and

(2) we must make Spaghetti Pie for dinner, and

(3) he promised to help me make Spaghetti Pie.

He did not help.  Something to do with homework.  But the next time he brings up Spaghetti Pie, I will supervise as he follows these easy instructions …

  

Yes, I did use the jarred stuff.  Hence the ‘easy’ part of ‘easy and delicious.’

It’s quick.  It’s easy.  It uses a lot of pots and pans …

Unfortunately my head dishwasher was out-of-town on a business trip when I made this. No problem, that’s what the back-up dishwasher is for …

And now I’m starving and need to heat up that second Spaghetti Pie for breakfast …
