mission possible link party: the great outdoors

May 29, 2012 By Linda 39 Comments

It’s that time again.  That time to party.  Linky party, that is.  And this time around we’re sharing all things outdoors and outdoorsy.  Me?  I’m partying right here …

screen_porch_collage
… thank you PicMonkey for making me look like a super cool photo editing genius ….

… on my screen porch.

And I want to take a moment to thank the lucky stars that this is a virtual party.  Because while my screen porch may be ready to entertain … the rest of the house?  Well, let’s just say the dust bunnies have started to colonize.  And I may need to apologize to my kitchen counters again.  And the family room?  There’s a very good reason I haven’t shared that space with you all yet …

… and I’m very lucky that my husband is a patient man when it comes to my diy.  Because the master bedroom?  Yeah, that project has sputtered and spurted and stalled …

… and is in need of a serious jump start.

And speaking of jump starts, be sure to visit my party co-hosts and check out their outdoor projects, which may jump start some ideas of your own …

… like Karah’s enviable island rooftop bedroom … and Kari’s sad little six blades of grass … and Andrea’s shabby chic hanging garden … and Kelly’s crazy cool creative dresser planter … (just click on the pics)

And don’t forget that this is a multi-blog party — which means when you link up here, you’ll be linked up on my fabulous co-host’s blogs too …

Eclectically Vintage         the space between

All I ask is that your links are outdoor related … patios, decks, gardens, yards, porches, plants, planters, grilling recipes … you get the idea, right?

Oh, and a button or line link back is always appreciated …

The party will stay open until midnight CST on  Friday, June 2 so you still have time to take it outdoors …

… and be sure to check back next Tuesday (June 5) when we’ll feature some of your outstanding outdoorsy work.

    Linda,
Thanks for hosting. I was hoping to have a different outdoor project finished that I’ve been working on but alas didn’t get it finished in time for your party. Which means I had better get my self back to work.
Can’t wait to see what everyone’s outdoor projects are. Their always my favorite.
    Have a great day!

Thanks to you and all the hostesses for this party — I am trying to get through the links. You have a great porch, and I am looking forward to the day I have a better one. My latest estate sale finds are waiting in the garage to be cleaned and painted — so I will have to look at the rest later!

The best part about summer? Being able to have another ‘room’ outside, out of sight of all the indoor projects that need to get done =)
