Boho Christmas Tree Design – Christmas Tree with White Balls, Painted PIne Cones, Feather Ornaments.

This week on the blog we’re going to have a visit from the ghost of Christmas past.
Well, actually the ghosts – plural – of Christmases past.
But not in a Dickensonian way.
More in a “hey, look what I found in my camera roll from past Christmases that I never posted on the blog” kind of way.

So this boho themed Christmas tree dates back to 2020.
Now, I can barely remember what happened last month, let alone five years ago. So I can’t speak to my mindset about why I decided not to share this tree.
I can only guess that I didn’t like how the photo turned out?
Or perhaps I didn’t like how the boho boho’d?
I do know that I painted those oversize ornament balls with white chalk paint. They were clear ones from Michael’s.
I do also know that I made those wood bead and feather ornaments. I ordered the feathers from Amazon, but they are currently unavailable (I mean, it was five years ago!). But here’s a link to similar feathers on Amazon. And here’s a link to wooden beads. In case you have an urge to make some feather and wood bead boho ornaments!
I do also also know that I made those white tipped pinecones (that I’ve been using on my trees for years).
But the very best part of this Christmas past visit is Ernie. Because after 17 years we lost Ernie in late spring 2023.
And we miss him very much. So this Christmas visit past has actually melted my heart.
In a very Dickensonian way. 🙂
