I must admit, I’m feeling a bit nostalgic this year. Mostly because (drum roll please) this will be our last holiday season in this house.
Yes, yes, I realize I’ve been the boy crying wolf for the last five-plus years with threats about selling this house.

The kids have both graduated college. Sam moved out on his own a few years ago. Molly (who technically graduates on December 13) will still need a few months to get herself up and running in her career.
But we are so, so, so ready to shed ourselves of this house.

Wishing you well in your purging, condo browsing, and more purging. We’ve decided to downsize without moving, so if we decide to move it won’t be too bad. We’ve lived in this house for 41 years. We have updated and added on over the years, and truly love it here. But…where do we go if we move? That’s always the question. So for the time being we plan to stay in this house until we can no longer take care of the place…or become too feeble to climb stairs…which ever comes first. lol! I’m looking forward to viewing condos with you! Happy Thanksgiving! 😉
